
Sales and Marketing
Meda’s sales and marketing organization spans all of Europe and the US, as well as an increasing number of growth markets in other parts of the world. Meda’s expansion in growth markets intensified during 2011; at the end of the year these markets accounted for 13% of total company sales.
Expansion outside Sweden has taken place through organic growth as well as acquisitions. The acquisition strategy is based on quickly integrating acquired companies into the Meda model, which is characterized by streamlined administration, highly efficient marketing and personal sales, and a desire to take advantage of the best expertise in the acquired companies.
Meda's sales and marketing organization is structured efficiently, and employees are generally well educated. Its 1,550 employees are distributed throughout 50 countries.
